Dr. James McShane, D.D.S.

Partner

Dr. McShane has been practicing dentistry since graduating from Loyola Dental School in 1979. He is married with four children and enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing, woodworking and golf in his spare time.

 

  

 


Dr. Scott Szatkowski, D.D.S.

Partner

Dr. Szatkowski graduated from Loyola Dental School in 1988. His passions in life are family, patients, handball, and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.


Dr. Bryan Erce, D.M.D.

Partner

Dr. Bryan Erce is a recent graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2014.  Dr. Erce split his undergraduate education between Queens University of Charlotte and Case.  He played four years of college basketball while earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  As a native Chicagoan, he still enjoys basketball, as well as golf, racquetball, softball, biking, and skiing.  He is a Chicago SuperFan and loves watching the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls, and Cubs.

 


Dr. Colleen McShane, D.D.S.

Dr. Colleen McShane graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis in 2015.  She then completed a General Practice Residency program through the University of Chicago at Evanston Hospital.  She is excited to be part of the MCDA team and enjoys traveling, swimming, biking, reading, and volunteering in her spare time.

 


Dr. Matthew McShane, D.M.D.

Dr. Matthew McShane, the newest member of our dental team, is a graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While at HSDM, Dr. Matt completed courses at both Harvard Dental and Harvard Medical School. Following dental school, he completed additional training through the General Practice Residency at Loyola University Medical Center. At Loyola, Dr. Matt gained experience in advanced dental procedures, treatment of dental emergencies, implant placement and restoration, operating room dentistry, and dental treatment of medically complex patients.

Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Matt is a graduate of St. Francis High School (Wheaton, IL) and Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL). He was a three sport varsity athlete in high school, and a member of the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team in college. Currently, he enjoys staying active through running, biking and swimming, as well traveling and exploring Chicago.

Dr. Matt is a member of the American, Illinois State, and Chicago Dental Societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. To stay current in the ever-changing field of dentistry, he is active in continuing education and organized dentistry.
